COVID-19 in UAE: No green pass to enter Abu Dhabi from February 28

 

Abu Dhabi announces updated entry rules for travellers within UAE. Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters committee has approved the removal of EDE scanners and requirements for green pass to enter Abu Dhabi emirate from within the UAE, effective Monday, 28 February, 2022.

Abu Dhabi: The Abu Dhabi Emergency, Crisis and Disasters Committee has scrapped the green pass and EDE screening for passengers from within the UAE to enter the emirate, from February 28.The move is part of a slew of updated procedures to enter Abu Dhabi from within the UAE. The move was taken by the committee to ease COVID-19 curbs. The updates include scrabbing the green pass status and removal of EDE screening devices at the entrances of Abu Dhabi.

However, the green pass will still be required to enter public spaces in Abu Dhabi, the authorities said.
